Helicopter Services Inc. Delivers New H125 Mosquito Control Completion

Airbus H125 helicopter with aerial mosquito completion

SPRING, Texas, July 28, 2024 One of the nation’s leading helicopter sales and support
companies has recently put final touches on a new aircraft completion for East Flagler Mosquito
Control District (EFMCD) in Florida.

Helicopter Services Inc. (HSI) of Spring, Texas, announced delivery of the custom configured
Airbus H125 helicopter, which HSI will celebrate during the Airborne Public Safety
Association’s APSCON 2024 conference and trade show.

The new aerial application platform represents a key upgrade in capabilities from EFMCD’s
legacy aircraft and will enhance the agency’s mission protecting residents in Flagler County from
the dangers brought by mosquito borne diseases.

“HSI greatly appreciates East Flagler Mosquito Control District’s decision to choose our
experienced team for completion of their new H125,” says HSI General Manager Mike
Crossland. “This aircraft represents a wonderful capability upgrade for that fine program.”

Several aerial mosquito control agencies have chosen HSI for turn-key services on new Airbus
aircraft. Airborne public safety agencies and private owners alike rely on the company.

In an industry-leading move, HSI continues to offer its Airbus aircraft acquisition and
completions via the GSA marketplace, notably the only company on GSA focused solely on the
helicopter industry.

Key equipment for this new completion included installing an Isolair aerial spray system,
Garmin G500 and a REBTECH NVG package among several other mission critical items.

Focusing on each customer’s mission needs, HSI leverages four decades of experience installing
the most popular airborne components. “We continue to fine tune avionics packages and other
components that operators truly benefit from,” adds Crossland.

HSI technicians have years of background with components from Isolair, Goodrich Hoist,
Wescam, MX-10, AEM Geneva Panel, Shot Over, ARS, SpectroLab, Illuminator and Trakka
searchlights.

“We enable clients to maximize effective use of their taxpayers’ dollars via our ‘helicopters only’
approach; our efforts continue fully focused on rotorcraft,” adds Robin Crossland.

To help agencies like East Flagler through a complicated specifications process, HSI offers
single vendor/one stop shopping which eases communication during the completion according to
Crossland.

HSI offers high quality completion and service offerings across airframes from Airbus, Bell, MD
Helicopters and Robinson aircraft.

Additional agencies choosing HSI include Florida Keys Mosquito Control, Missouri Department
of Conservation, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, City of Austin, New York City DOHMH,
Houston Police Department, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, East Baton Rouge Mosquito
Abatement and others.

HSI is a proud Airbus Authorized reseller, Garmin Dealer, U.S. sales rep for HeliTowCart,
Genesys Aerosystems Dealer, Freeflight Systems Dealer, StartStick Dealer, Robinson Dealer and
Service Center, Avidyne Dealer among many fine brands.
